These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Sport AI Link Telegram bot (the “Bot”) and the website sportai.link (the “Site”) — together, the “Service”. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Sport AI Link is a personal sport coach in Telegram. You connect a wearable device (watch or tracker); the Service retrieves your training and recovery data, computes sport metrics with deterministic code, and uses an AI language model to phrase coaching advice on top of those numbers. A wearable supported by the Service is required — the Bot does not work without one.
2. What the Service is not: no medical advice
The Service is a sports and fitness tool. It is not a medical service, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
- Consult a physician before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have (or suspect) any medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.
- If you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom, stop exercising and seek medical help. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
- Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of anything the Service tells you.
Physical exercise carries inherent risks. You participate in any training voluntarily and at your own risk, and you are responsible for exercising within your own limits.
3. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Your account and responsibilities
The Service identifies you through your Telegram account. You are responsible for securing access to your own Telegram account and devices. You agree to:
- provide accurate profile information (the quality of coaching depends on it);
- use the Service only for your personal, non-commercial purposes;
- not submit another person’s data without the legal right to do so;
- comply with applicable laws when using the Service.
5. Third-party services
The Service depends on services we do not control, and their own terms apply to your use of them:
- Telegram — the platform through which the Bot and payments in Telegram Stars operate;
- wearable providers (Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Fitbit, Strava) — you connect your device through the provider’s own authorization and can revoke it there at any time.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services, including outages of Telegram or of your device provider’s data feed.
6. Free trial
New users receive a 14-day free trial with full functionality. No payment is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, continued use requires a paid subscription.
7. Subscription and payment
- Subscriptions are purchased in Telegram Stars, inside Telegram. The current price and billing period are always displayed in the Bot before you confirm a purchase.
- Payment processing is performed by Telegram under Telegram’s own terms. We never receive your card or payment instrument details.
- Your subscription renews for successive periods until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the Bot or via Telegram’s subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, which you keep in full. Amounts already paid for the current period are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or granted under Telegram’s payment policies.
- By purchasing, you request immediate access to the Service for the paid period and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed.
- We may change subscription prices; changes apply only to future billing periods and will be shown in the Bot before you are charged.
Mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected by this section.
8. AI-generated content
Coaching advice is generated with the help of an AI language model based on your data. It is informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. It does not account for everything about your health and circumstances. You remain solely responsible for deciding whether, how, and how hard to train. See also Section 2.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, or circumvent access or security controls;
- access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers) other than the intended Telegram interface;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its content;
- attempt to extract underlying models, prompts, or another user’s data;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harm yourself or others.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates this section.
10. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, texts, and branding — is protected by intellectual property rights and remains ours or our licensors’. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms.
Your data remains yours. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Coaching outputs generated for you may be used by you for your personal purposes.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal data — including health data, which is processed only with your explicit consent — is described in the Privacy Policy and the Data & Security page. Those documents are part of your agreement with us.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data or advice, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Metrics depend on the data your device provides; we are not responsible for inaccurate or missing device data.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service;
- our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such law so provides. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account and all associated data directly in the Bot. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or where required by law; where practicable, we will notify you via the Bot. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 2, 8, 10, 12, 13) survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The version and effective date appear at the top. For material changes we will notify you in the Bot in advance; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms do not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. Before initiating a formal dispute, please contact us at hello@sportai.link — most issues are resolved quickly and informally.
17. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Service, without reducing your rights.
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Data & Security page constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- These Terms are drawn up in English; translations are provided for convenience, and the English version prevails in case of discrepancy.
